I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

An Elegant Autumn Tree, Fall Home Tour 2015, Part 3

Welcome to Part 3 of my Fall Home Tour Series, An Elegant Autumn Tree........
First, I would like to Thank Elaine, over at Cookin and Craftin- My 2 Favorite Things, for featuring my post, How to Make Toilet Paper Pumpkins, as the Most Viewed from last week's My 2 Favorite Things Party on Thursdays!!

Thank you very much, Elaine!!

And I also want to Thank Richella, over at Imparting Grace, for featuring my post,  An Autumn Topiary, from last week's  Grace at Home Party!!

Thanks so much , Richella!!

Last year, I decided  to use the 7 foot tree that we normally use for Christmas as my Autumn Tree instead of the 5 foot potted Tree that I had used for several years........

This photo is of the Tree with just the Sun shining on it through the Living Room window, lights not turned on.........
Using this Tree now makes it easier for me when it comes to decorating for Christmas.........

The Tree is already up and has all the lights on it!!
And this year, I took it a step further by already putting the Tree on the Platform that I use for the Christmas Village under the Tree!!

You can see that I covered it with a round gold tablecloth that I cut a slit in to fit around the base of the tree......
When it is time to decorate for Christmas, I will just strip the Tree of all the Autumn decorations and decorate it for Christmas and then pull the tablecloth off and the platform will be ready to set up the Christmas Village on!!
Now back to my Elegant Autumn Tree.......

If you would like to see exactly how I decorated the Tree this year, please click HERE for a post I did last year.......

The Tree looks good in the day without the lights on, don't you think????
With the lights on...........
You can see that I made good use of the platform underneath.......
The general rule when lighting a Tree is 100 lights for every foot........

I have 830 LED Warm White lights and 1 set of LED orange lights on this Tree.....
I used Fall flowers and a bow that I made out of 2 different Fall ribbons as the Topper for the Tree.....
Fall Flowers and Leaves have been added to the Tree......
It is decorated with round ball ornaments in gold, orange, bronze and brown......
Also an orange sparkly Bird......
Pumpkins.......
An Owl........
Leaf ornaments......
Acorn ornaments......
And more Leaf ornaments!!
And I had a great time creating The Pumpkin Patch under the Tree!!
Over to the left and right of the platform , in the back, are 2 burlap bags that I filled with a pillow form .......

These bags were bought at a Flea Market a few years back.......

One of the pumpkins that  I blinged up.......
2 of my Bearingtom Bears, sitting on a bench......

This grapevine pumpkin was used outside but the lights did not work so they were removed and a set of orange LED lights were added........
And what is Fall without a nice hot cup of Tea!!
A simple Tea Set, sits in among all my Blinged Up Pumpkins!!
The acorns came from Big Lots.....
Leaf Doilies are scattered about on the platform like Falling Leaves.......
I had such a good time decorating different pumpkins that I bought on Clearance at various stores.....
I used leaves and small ornaments....

Over by the Window.......
A wagon filled with more Autumn Goodies!!
My Harvest Blessing Sign is an old cookie sheet, painted with chalkboard paint that I used a white marker on for the wording!!
Inside the wagon.......
Another Bearington Bear......
The brown glittery pine cones are Christmas ornaments that were bought at Dollar Tree last year......
On the floor beside the wagon is a crystal vase filled with Fall flowers and a scarecrow.......
So there is my Elegant Autumn Tree for this year.......
And of course, I LOVE how it looks lit up in the Evening!!

I went with An Elegant Autumn Look in our Living Room this year..........
I hope you will come back to visit when I share my next post in My Fall Home Tour Series.......
